Why? because you know exactly how much time it takes up in your life?

Hamas, I think you're gonna pop a blood vessel in your eyeball this year.

Bob Dole 09-04-2007 04:57 PM

Oddly enough, watching New Orleans stomp the crap out of KC in preseason week 3, 30-7, didn't much FEEL like watching an Arena League game.

FAX 09-04-2007 04:58 PM

New Orleans was just monkeying around, Mr. Bob Dole. We were playing real football.

I forget what her user name was. and you have to pay to use the search engine over there. it's probably in the archives.

Why would he say this?

It seems a really, REALLY stupid thing to say.

Herm's a defensive coach.
Welcome to yesterday.
It's obvious that he's the antithesis of Dick Vermiel.

And while I hate the fact that he tinkered with something that wasn't broken I realize we shouldn't have to score 30 points to win football games.

I honestly think we'll do well if we can post 21 points from game to game.

Because he still thinks that football is the same as it was when he was an UDFA in the mid 70's. The 1970's were a statisical abberattion where most teams ran the shit out of the football. It's an aerial game now, and has been since SB XVI.

Herm's the kind of guy who on the first day of college philosophy, was assigned a project on Kant, and automatically blocked out every other form of philosophy he would subsequently be exposed to.

He's catastrophically stupid.
