Stevieray - Part of the reason people started doing it in this one was because during the halftime show the Mizzou Marching band did the chop/chant as part of their show for the Chiefs fans trying to get them into it.

I love the chant!! It is very intimidating to hear 79,000 people chanting in unison. I wish it would go on more often, it is really ominous and as stevieray said lets the opponent know they are in for a long day.

As for the chant--it always sounds out of sync when you're in the stands (to Bob Dole anyway). The longer it goes on, the more people start trying to sync with the other side of the stadium, rather then just hanging with the beat in their head. Was pretty cool, though.

Still hoping to have 1st visit to Arrowhead this year I can't comment too much. BUT that Bawitdaba song makes me want to get in the pit and knock somebody out and I believe we had a damn good 4th quarter.
