You'd think so, but it's not.

Great call Herm!

OUR D line was getting pressure the whole game but Rivers had enough experience to just step up and into the throw.

Pigpen doesn't yet. No slam on him, props for the game he had.

Considering all the injuries this is, by far, the most proud I've been of this team all year. Hands down...

Bullshit. Take the 99.9% sure points (I didn't blame Herm for the earlier PAT miss and I wouldn't have blamed him here either...that's not a coaching decision) and go play OT. This was as stupid a decision as I've ever seen a football coach at any level make.

I am sure 99.99% sure Gailey will be repremanded for it.

Great call.

Bad call on Gonzalez that put SD on 1-2 yd. Anyway, that's how it looked to me -- watching the game on the computer.

With this offense the odds are about 10%.

Thig Lyfe 11-09-2008 06:34 PM

The call for 2 was probably the right one.

But, the Chargers saw the rollout coming from a mile away.

They should have spread it out and had Thiggy drop back with the option of running a draw up the middle if nobody got open right away.

I think the non-call on holding in the back of the endzone on the 2pt. made up for it.

Red Dawg 11-09-2008 06:35 PM

Definitely the right call.

KCwolf 11-09-2008 06:35 PM

As for 90% on this Board.....GREAT call for going for 2. Just didn't work. So beat up on D and 1-7 ....get real....GREAT CALL HERM. Do it every time in this position.

Mr. Laz 11-09-2008 06:36 PM

going for it was fine ...... the play that was called sucked though

everyone in the stadium
including the refs
knew Herm would blow it/Rerun

Basileus777 11-09-2008 06:37 PM

I like going for it, but I don't like the playcall. A bootleg was a bad idea, they knew it was coming.

Why?

Would you have rather ran it for a 2 yard loss?
