Actually for those who are QB mechanic gurus such as myself, in that Thigpen/Montana comparison photo, Thigpen's ball position is more fundamentally correct.

Not that I'm complaining as I am a Gannon fan, and it HAS been some time, but I don't recall him rolling out as much as Thigpen does, as he was just damn good at shucking & jiving pass rushers.

Yep. The fact that he could even walk off the field at the end was pretty damned amazing, and in his post-game interview he just looked and talked like someone had taken a ball-bat to his skull.
