Plaza III, if you're not worried about cost.

Hereford House is completely overrated IMO.

I'd rather have Outback.

Outback = Bonanza = disgusting

Can't forget about The Savoy Grill.

That said, my parents reported that their last visit [party of 6] to Outback [Metcalf], two people got their steaks WAAAY effed up. A bit of a pain, but it resulted in new steaks for all, and EVERYTHING getting comped, including desserts for all that they hadn't initially ordered, and didn't plan on ordering until Management insisted.

Sounds like the new cook didn't work out.

I see no point in eating there. Their food is nothing better than what I can make at home for less money. I'll admit, though, that in a pinch they'll certainly suffice. They don't do anything great but as you point out, they seldom screw up real bad either.

I went to TX roadhouse last week just to get chili. It tasted like it came from a can. And if it did, I wouldn't buy any of that particular brand any time soon.

The last steak I had at Outback must've been cooked in a skillet or something, no flavor at all.

Hereford house can be pretty good, but they do a great job of making their more expensive steaks taste infinitely better than their cheaper ones. If you are gonna go, go all out, or you'll probably be disappointed.

Thank you.
I know every nook and cranny of Kansas City Mo. proper.

I would reccommend J Gilberts.....

Its right off of Metcalf...about 80th street

A little pricey but I have never had a bad one....

When the Chiefs are rollin' the Flea Market is the Place You Wanna' Be; loud as ****, and completely off the hook.

Good times, good times...

ROFL Where you can serve up a tube steak.

In another thread, someone said there's an establishment a block away or so that was better b/c "you can do more" there. Not sure what place this individual was talking about, though.

Get to Bazookas. Enjoy. Follow the smell to find the "looser" establishment.
