Where u ran into problems was your intro calling people fair weather fans. Poorly worded.
I regular see, "these guys suck", "these guys couldn't get another job with an NFL team". So yes I see these kind of posts as stupid and short sighted. The think the only thing most of the posters can understand about NFL games is wins and losses, which ultimately is the most important thing. But, there is a process going on here which is laying the foundation for some really longterm success. I'm tired of everyone refussing to aknowledge it.

There are no fair weather fans here. Our team is 2-23, and people here still talk about them on a daily basis.

Good point, I did not do the research here. I would say five, the Bengals did not exactly blow us out. We were still competitive much more than we were not.

Dwayne Bowe could be a Pro-Bowl player, but the HOF is a stretch.

Off topic note: Arrowhead West has 50% off the entire store, and I bought an authentic Bowe jersey for $55, Trent Green mesh white for $8, and a Croyle mesh red for $8. Additionally, the only Arrowhead West still open is the one on the Plaza; the other closed.

Edit: by mesh I mean home replica, as termed by kcchiefs pro shop
