Gutless would be firing Herm to appease fans.

BOO!

Based on their recent drafts (if nothing else) I'd prefer Raye over Dominik. But I also think Raye WILL be interviewed less for his qualifications and more so Clark won't have to answer to Jesse Jackson.

His record is enough to gauge whether he should be in KC or not.
His record over 3 years says not.
Not firing a guy who deserves to be fired and not doing so hoping the new GM will is gutless.

You're really not seeing the MO, are ya'?

I'll bet my entire stash of casino cash that Herm has already been told his ass is gone.

Let's review this one last time:

Other Franchises = HEY! LOOK AT ME! LOOK OVER HERE! HELLO ESPN!

Chiefs = NSA, Hush-hush, Cold War etc.

There is no ****ing way that Herman ****ing Edwards wouldn't be out there blowing his own horn and looking for another job if he'd been told he was gone already.

Who says he is hoping the new GM will fire him? That is the part that so many people are missing. Clark Hunt has been very supportive of Herm Edwards.

It would clearly be a popular move among Chiefs fans to fire him. If he were gutless, he would have already fired him to appease the fans.

Herm Edwards is an easy guy to fire.

I think Hunt wants to keep him.

You should labeled the thread title... Anything that might be associated with Herm is a disaster to even consider the interview...

Bucs Dominik on Chiefs short bus list.

Actually, the best run organizations are kept the quietest.

But, I don't think Herm has been told he is gone. Right now is a busy in time in the Chiefs organization getting ready for the Senior Bowl. It would make no sense to tell him he is fired behind the scenes and give him a reason to put forth less effort.

First, Herm's coaching skills couldn't warrant blowing a ****ing kazoo, much less a horn.

Second, if he was told to sit the **** down and shut the **** up by Clark; he'd damn well do it!

Possibility Three:

Herm has been told that if "GM A/B/C" is hired, your chances of staying head coach break down in to this percentage.
"Do you wanna' keep your mouth shut and see what happens, or would you like to leave right now"?

He would be blowing his own horn, and in case you hadn't noticed he's too ****ing stupid to realize he's a ****ing idiot.

If he's already been told he's history, then Clark is no longer his boss and he won't give a rat's ass if Clark tells him to shut the hell up, and shouldn't.

Do he want a good recommendation, yo? Cause the record WON'T be doing the talking on that front.
And I don't think that any GM or DOA is going to give two ****S about Herm being a "players coach" at this point.

FYI:

810 just floated a rumor that Dominik was told by Chiefs brass that he wouldn't be in consideration for the Chiefs GM position.

They went on to question whether that meant one had already been found or not....

Yep. Heard it too, happy as a clam. Now get Jimmy's chicken shack off the roster, and DCS will proclaim Good Friday.
