I had a similar situation. A girl called me over and took my hand and started talking to me, all the while she was buffing one of my finger nails with some kind of an oval shaped emmery board. When she was done she showed me my beautiful glossy finger and said isn't that nice? I looked at her and said do I really look like someone that would buff my fingers and walked away.
