Stop him, stop MU......not that hard.

Carroll is our best player but he's not the only inside force. Lyons scored 30 just a game or two ago and draws more fouls per 40 minutes than any player in the country. He's definitely a hit or miss player if he doesn't get touches early, but he can be a force when he's on.

Also, Ramsey is a damn good player, maybe our best freshman. He started for Lyons for a few games and did very well.

Mizzou doesn't have anyone that will shutdown Aldrich, but they have some decent players in the post.

Ramsey is a Junior--JUCO transfer--but I agree he is damn good.

I'd say English is our best frosh. That kid's gonna be good.

My team is better than your team.

Predicting a team to win and/or betting on a team for money I dont think counts as rooting for them.

I've wanted MU to win in football because of bets I've made because I thought they were the better team, but I'm not a fan of MU in anway shape or form.

Ive said this many times before, I think MU has a better football team than KU, in all of the border war smack thats been across this board, I've remained consistant in my stance on that. However that immediately got turned into "I root for MU football, and KU bball" which isn't the case. I just thought MU had a better football team just by watching both play. I just call it as I see it, rivalry put aside.

Now its different for bball because I dont think I can ever recall a MU team being a better team than KU, at least while I've been alive. That includes MU's 1994 team.

You're a betting man and you think Carroll is the only player MU has that can play inside. Noice. Don't make a bet on this game my friend.

MU hasn't had an inside game since Arthur Johnson

Wow. I've been looking forward to this game for awhile. It's such a better game when you have two decent teams playing. The KU/MU bball serious is always close, but if MU is ranked next week, it will be that much better when KU

KNOCKS THEM OUT OF THE TOP 25!

Not sure why I yelled that....but....well.....bite me.

I've never been a basketball fan at all, but it seems like it will be a good match so I'll go ahead and watch.

HolyHandgernade 02-07-2009 09:51 PM

Glad to see MU back on track, it makes the rivalry all the better. Doesn't mean I want a different outcome at all. When I gave my pre-conference predictions, I've only missed one. I predicted a loss to Baylor. I also predicted a loss to Mizzou tomorrow, so I don't mind being off twice!

Rock Chalk!

I could see KU losing Monday just as easily as winning.
