Agreed. It is premature, stupid and bad karma.

Yep. It's nice to dream, but I hate reading this crap.

Thought this pic was interesting. Looks like Carroll did deflect that final shot. And that's no foul, though he probably shouldn't have been that close.

IMHO...this season is now an unqualified success. They can lose by 20 to Memphis and it simply doesn't matter. 30 wins, Sweet 16, when you were supposed to finish 7th in the Big 12. They've exceeded every expectation any sane person had. The most out-of-nowhere thing I've ever seen to a Missouri basketball season. Or at least up there with the 14-0 conference season. If you had told me before the season started that this is what would happen...I'd have asked for what you were smoking.

Nobody saw this coming. The rest of the season is icing on the cake.

Agreed.

And now they're free to just go play. Nobody expects them to beat Memphis. Time to let it all hang out.

I'm a Hawkeye fan now rooting for Mizzou. Just like I do everytime they play the Cornholers.

Anyone else tend to think about Snyder's teams, and how he had 5 great athletes on the floor...and on the offensive side they would run down the court and stand around passing back and forth to each other...without moving a step?

To say this team has no offensive system is wrong.

I agree with the fact that no matter what happens Thursday, this season is pure success. Far more than I could have hoped for.

Are you really as miserable as you portray yourself on here? Dumb****?? I can't believe some people on here who can't make statements without resorting to personally insulting people unprovoked.

Team of Destiny sounds a bit over the top to me. At least, whenever I think of reporting like that, I think jinx - Madden cover level of jinx.

I'm elated with the Tigers' success, but realistically speaking, it will be tough for them to get through this weekend. Memphis then if they win, there's a really good chance they'll be matched up against UCON. That's a tough stretch.

Yeah... I think every Tiger fan agrees. Every one I know, anyway.

Not every mizzurah fan thinks like you. One whom I work with thinks they are going to play UNC for the title.

Of course this is the same guy who will try to make the argument that mizzurah's basketball history is equal to KU. :spock:

I've always wondered why you type mizzourah? Is that how you pronounce it, or is that meant condescendingly?

Honestly, it's just nice to be in a position to have the chance to try. And you certainly can't just rule 'em out.

I hope they do whatever it takes to keep Anderson. Guy's cool as a cucumber, and his team reflects that.

Stark contrast to the antics Marquette's coach pulled when the game was on the line.

I was shocked he shook anyone's hand. Dude was completely out of line, and I'm surprised he wasn't called for a technical.
