On second thought, I'll pass on playing "Rust In Peace" next because I just got the sudden feeling to rock out to:

Guns N Roses - the album "Appetite for Destruction." "Rocket Queen" for the mothertruckin' win.

Reaper16 04-14-2009 11:59 PM

In my car I'm currently listening to Nelly's CD - Country Grammar. It brings back some memories and it's actually not tooo bad.

It is great..but I just love Blackout more than anything Tim Kasher has ever created. Such an amazingly depressing album..love it.

I had the good fortune to catch Cursive, Desaparecidos, and Small Brown Bike at Sokol Underground in Omaha..probably spring '03. Right after 'The Ugly Organ' dropped.

Cursive was monstrous, just amazing..and Small Brown Bike put on a great show..but Desaparecidos was fairly disappointing. Not Conor Oberst's best showing..oh well, caught him at Uptown with The Faint a couple years later and that was a great show.

That CD makes me think of being like 13 or 14 and hanging out at the swimming pool all day..doing bellyflops on the diving board for a dollar a piece.

Where they at, where they at, where they at....

If you wanna go and get high with me, smoke an L in the back of the Benz-e-e, oh why must I feel this way? Hey, must be the money.

I caught that tour in Memphis; awesome show. The Faint blew me away.
I'll check out "Blackout".
Saddle Creek Records FTW
