Denver said waaaaaaay back in March that their season starts after Thanksgiving. They will be playing their best football starting in December.

Well, it's just not a must win game... sure, at this point every game matters more, but they're still 1 game out of the division and with 7 wins, they have 3 remaining games against the Raiders and Chiefs.

The games @ Indy and @ PHI will be tough... PHI is not dominant and they can be defeated, even at home if Denver plays like they have in their 7 wins.

Denver is at the top of the wildcard list right now... 1 game ahead of PIT, BAL and JAX. Jax isn't playing great and while they lose the tiebreakers to PIT and BAL, there's no guarantee they will win the rest of their games.

BAL and PIT still play each other... so, one will get another loss.

PIT plays OAK / CLE / GB / BAL / MIA ... could be 3-2 or 4-1
BAL plays GB / DET / CHI / PIT / OAK ... could be 3-2 or 4-1

It's a tight tight battle right now and the margin for error is nearly razor thin, but I don't see either of those teams running the table.

Worst Case, Denver goes 3-2 in my estimation... and with a one game lead, they can probably survive that and still advance.

The Chargers play CLE / DAL / CIN / TEN / WAS ... they won't go 5-0, possibly 3-2 and if things really get crazy, I could see them losing @ Dallas, @ Ten and against the Bengals. It's not impossible to think 2-3 is a reality with the way those teams are playing.

So, it's all still up for grabs.

We took out Tom Brady, Big Ben and Charlie Batch. Bring on Eric Clapton! I mean Kyle Orton who will be singing the blues from his hospital bed.

I don't think the Chiefs line can stop the 4th best pass rush in the NFL. I also don't think the Chiefs can open up holes for the RB's against a team that allows the 6th fewest yards per carry in the NFL.

Denvers rush and pass offense are finally clicking at the same time, Orton is playing at a Pro Bowl level, and the 5'9'' Brandon Flowers doesn't stand a chance against Brandon Marshall.

If Denver doesn't turn the ball over they will win this game easily. If they beat themselves with stupid fumbles then the Chiefs have a chance at keeping it close.

I think it will be a 34-9 Broncos win.

Oh God, it begins. Who let you out of the looney bin? Best secondary? Hahaha

I'm not going to worry with stats for the offenses or defenses... that didn't help them when they played the Redskins or the others.

It's a road game at KC... records typically don't matter when these teams play.

Broncos: x
Chiefs: x+1

Oh ok, since you guys said it, I guess it must be true.

Shit for brains.

What other secondary has two first ballot Hall of Famers?

Doode, I'd be just as happy roasting marshmallows over the burning wreckage of the Donk's flight to KC, kicking the survivors back into the wreckage, as watching the Chiefs kick their asses! Better yet, let's roast marshmallows over their return flight that crashes just after takeoff, after we hand them a loss. Yeah, there's nothing good about anything "Denver" IMO!

Sometimes, you make me chuckle... great resumes are fine, but they don't win games.

:D They're still great... Dawkins has been playing at a very high level consistently this year. Bailey is still very good and with 70 year old Ty Law, they looked really good vs NY.

Here's hoping they don't fall into a trap game.

Dude, the Raiders and Chargers both have a better secondary then you guys. You have two has beens. Sure they will probably make the HOF but they are way past their prime.

What I think is hilarious is if the donkeys win, it will be because it was expected. Wow big deal HoMo2724, I mean KnowMo2724. But if the Chiefs upset the donkeys what excuses are you going to use. I'll bet we don't hear from ol' KnowMo till the next time we play the donkeys.
