He did draft Lawrence, and picked up Wade and Chambers, without draft picks. Though the waiver wire pick-ups are not long term solutions, they are decent enough for a year or two so that other glaring needs can be addressed -- like the S, OL, LB, OL and OL.

I could see the Chiefs drafting McClain. Really dude this group of linebackers sucks, San Diego has exposed that.

Do you want less select talent, or a lot of Martyocrity?

I want the most talent but thats not how the Patriots do things.

Patriots also lucked their way into Brady, which is why they are successful. If the Chiefs draft Cody or McClain over Berry then they are ****ing reeruned.

It wasn't just Brady. They won 11 games with a QB who hadn't played in 7 years.

Chiefs won 13 games with Bono. Winning regular season doesnt mean shit. They win Super Bowls bc of Brady.

11-5 says "incorrect".

Well its a good thing we don't have just one draft pick and also have free angency.

Can't really count on FA this year due to the uncapped year.

Just because it is an uncapped year does not mean you/we should expect nothing in free agency. I understand that many players that would be FAs won't be if it is an uncapped year, but there will still be FAs to be had. I am guessing it will be another year of the Chiefs trying to sign some "middle tier" or aging veteran with(hopefully) a good year or two left FA talent.

Going from this list I would be happy to see them land even a player or two from:

Nate Burleson, Casey Hampton, Ryan Pickett, Bryan Robinson, Tully Banta-Cain, Gary Brackett, Ryan Clark, Tyrone Carter.

Obviously all these guys won't hit the market in an uncapped year, but IMO at least several of them are likely to. Robinson and Banta-Cain most likely, and maybe Ryan Pickett if GB thinks Raji can be their answer at NT.

I'm a firm believer that the defense will be built through the draft and offense through free agency, maybe a few more trades in the future, and some draft picks... but most of those will be used on defense at least for the next couple years. I also don't believe this year will be uncapped no matter what the owners are trying to say as of now... there is just no way it happens.
