I took the copout Gaz option, but the truth, is that i was invited to a party & even had a supposed girl there who wanted to meet me... but, this town will have a police barricade at every 3rd intersection. This town is famously & proudly Nazi on New Years Eve.

Beyond that, i HATE blind 'hookups'... one or the other is always disappointed & someone always ends up feeling bad. Lately, its been me on the stinky end of the stick & i'm tired of it.

My rock & roll Marine son kicked my ass the other day, when he asked me about my love life recently i said something like 'i could settle for less son, but i wont do it anymore, i've done it too much & i'm not mentally or physically ready to confidently take on the girls i want'.

His response, in faux gansta tongue in cheek accent 'Bitches Aint Nuttin But Tricks n Hoes Tricks n Hoes!'

I love that kid.

Mrs. FMB and I just got home from seeing Avatar, and getting ready for bed. Very possibly will be asleep for the ball drop... would make the second year in a row.

And we're OK with that.
