I think Anne Peterson's 17 or 18 year old son just recently died from drunk driving.... I could be wrong. Very Sad though.

Didn't Lenny Dawson do sports in KC for a while?

Lenny's been the local ABC affiliate's 6pm sports anchor since the early 1970s.
He still shows up on KMBC 9, but not as much as he used to.

Anyone remember when you could get horse racing tickets from the supermarket with your receipt, then they showed the races right after the news [I think]. If your horse won you got something from the supermarket.

Here's some that come to mind:
Fred Broski
John Bilyeu
Dan Henry
John Masterman
Charles Gray
Dick Hocter
Cheryll Jones
Anne Peterson
Torrey Southwick
Ed Muscari
Don Fortune
Frank Boal
Toby Cook
Sue Mason
Dave Helling
Harris Falkner
Claude Dorsey
Drew Dimmell
Christine Craft
Gene Fox
Walt Bodine
Stan Cramer
William "Action" Jackson
Russell Kinsaul
Bob Thill
Bruce Rice
Leon Liebl
Glen Hanson
Gordon Docking
Cynthia Smith
Barry Morris
Denny Trease
Craig Sager

I recognize most of those, but how could you leave Geri Gosa (sp?) off the list? Quite possibly one of the ugliest women ever to be paid to appear on television.

RIP, Wendall.

Whatever happened to that hottie Anne Peterson? At least she was hot back in the 80's.....

She was a cutie back in the day. I liked Maria Antonia more though. She was a real hottie when she first came on the scene. Kind of nasty now though.

Unfortunately, she too had a hard time recently as she lost her younger son in a car crash last March.
