If the guy really wanted a ring, he'd take the league minimum and go play for someone like the Patriots.

They might not use him nearly as much, and he wouldn't have the money or stats, but he'd have the best shot at a ring as he's going to get.

For such a great tight end really he didn't dominate a single playoff game. The last few years all I heard was him bitch about not being on a playoff team then he gets traded to a contender and they don't even make the playoffs. I thought great players make teams better?
He's a TE, dude. What TE's actually come in and dominate games? What TE's warranted the kind of attention that he got from defenses in the playoffs?

What TE's in the NFL actually warrant this kind of conversation. The fact that we are even having this conversation shows how dominating he is at his position.

Yeah, cuz the Patriots offered up a 2nd rounder for him, right? And god forbid he sign a contract extension with the Chiefs when we began building one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL at the time.
