Credit, or potentially a new (used) car.

Refund?
I'm self employed, what is this "refund" you speak of?

I'm going to buy a bunch of "To the Ship!" T-shirts that feature Romeo and Charlie going to Long John Silvers.

Then I'm going to sell them.

With my negative refund I plan on buying some shit for some welfare mommies and maybe providing bad health care to the unwashed masses.

Doubt I will have enough to do anything with, and I may pay in. With the economy, I didnt expect to make over 30,000, so I set up my w-2 to lower withholding expecting earned income credit. I ended up at just over 41,000. 7000 of which was unemployment with no withholding. I hope to break even with Uncle Sam.

Its going in my rainy day fund. I plan on moving in the summer and although I am not anticipating any technical difficulties, I am not ruling them out. Getting a job as a waiter is never the most stable economic route.

I better get one this year. I bought a house, isn't that a big deduction.. the interest and PMI insurance?

SLAG 01-21-2010 12:45 AM

if there is enough we were thinking of either installing new windows in the house or redoing the kitchen... the kitchen needs it bad.. but so do the windows...

Talk to a good friend of mine that works in a Sales and Rental place and he informed me that they had a HUGE spurt in sales on the 20th through the 24th of December of people that went to H&R Block and got an advance on thier "Projected" tax refund.

I don't know how much interest is on it or what percentage they actually get but I bet people that do this kind of shit get F***ed when they actually get their return done?

Me.. I have sunk more than $3K into my house getting it ready for sale so along with that and my taxes and interest paid on my house should get me a nice return.

What?

File taxes?

I read on the internet that we didn't have to do that anymore. But that was in 1998.

Maybe I misunderstood.......
