Shit. If I give the Seahawks Berry and Brown, what do I do with Bulaga then? Fartskins! A conundrum!

Saccopoo 02-26-2010 07:40 PM

Okay. I like that first round much better now. Never felt comfortable with Bulaga to the Seahawks and Williams to the Packers is a much better fit than Brown.

I might have to contemplate the 49ers taking Benn instead of Spiller.

Mecca 02-26-2010 07:43 PM

If it really plays that way the 49ers would take Spiller or Mays, both players fill something they need and are the best players left.

Yeah, Spiller would be a nice fit in the system and giving Smith another tool would be huge in his progression as a NFL QB. If they can get a solid tackle out of this and another couple of weapons, they are going to be a dangerous team - as long as Singletary keeps his pants on.

Rolando McClain is to system limited to play for a 4-3 team to go that high, no one uses a top 10 pick on a 2 down strong side LB.

Also that is way high for Bruce Campbell.

Campbell just ran a 4.85 40 yard dash and a 32" vertical. At a ripped 6'6", 315 lbs.

You still think that's too high for the Raiders, who need an offensive tackle?

Mr. Flopnuts 02-27-2010 02:00 PM

I understand we need some depth at the nose position, but drafting 2 DT's in the first two rounds makes me want to vomit. We have way too many holes to be filling depth in the 2nd round.

Suh won't be playing NT. He's going to be our starting five tech guy at the start of mini-camps. Dorsey will be the one tech at Tampa Bay.

Duh.

If you'd rather have Dorsey at the five tech than Suh, I'd imagine that you're suffering from some intestinal malady. Tampa is going to take Okung, and then they are going to need a defensive tackle. Chiefs trade Dorsey to the Bucs for the second and a fourth this year and a fifth next year. Chiefs take Suh at the #5 spot, and as Jackson is our seven tech DE, Suh would be our five tech. They pick up Thomas with one of the later second rounders and there you go - a potentially devastating 3-4 defensive front. Kindle gets picked with the first second, and with the Bucs second they can pick up either Taylor Mays if he's still on the board, Brandon Spikes, Darryl Washington, Morgan Burnett or the like.

A completely reworked and substantially better defense by the end of the second round, then they can use the third round and on to shore up the offensive line (Matt Tenant, JD Walton, Jason Fox, Black, Beadles, Olsen, etc.), wide receiver (Shipley, Decker, etc.), running back (Hardesty, Scott), etc.

And you'd complain about that?

Still think it's high, because honestly most teams don't care how fast OT's run 40 times. And the Raiders don't take workout warrior offensive linemen they do that with other positions.

I would love it if Suh fell to us the guy is the stud of the draft.

The Franchise 03-01-2010 12:05 PM

If it falls like that.......give me this.

1. Eric Berry, S
2. Sergio Kindle, OLB/DE
2. Cam Thomas, NT
3. Sean Lee, ILB
4. Jason Fox, OT
5. Eric Olsen, C

I'm surprised you had the ability to read the first five picks. Kudos.

Oh, and did you ever think that Dorsey would have been around by the fifth pick in 2008?

KCChiefsMan 03-02-2010 05:23 PM

I want to beat the creator of this mockery
