Brady Quinn... one of the few QBs in the league who was worse than Cassel, but we want him?

You guys really must love bashing the guy...

It's worth a shot based on Weis alone. With the way our depth chart looks at QB we should try just about anything.

Personally if we are going to steer away from the Cassel ship, then i would rather have Claussen than Quinn..
Maybe its my personally hatred for Quinn but i just dont like the guy and i dont think he has the "it" factor.

According to beat writer Tony Grossi, Brady Quinn could be "shipped out" after the recent trade for Seneca Wallace.
Derek Anderson is already as good as gone, and Quinn won't be able to learn Mike Holmgren's West Coast offense and beat out Wallace in one offseason. The Browns may look to draft a quarterback in the second or third round, but Wallace is easily the early favorite start Week 1.

Yeah...so he's being shipped out because again he's being asked to learn a new offense and they don't want to give him the time. He's not going to lose the job based off of talent...he's losing it based off of Holmgren's familiarity of Wallace.

Quinn got the biggest dick job ever.

1. Get's drafted by the Browns.
2. Anderson starts because of previous season.
3. Starts after Anderson sucks.
4. Throws an INT and gets benched.
5. Starts after Anderson sucks.
6. Put on IR
7. Loses TE to a trade.
8. Throws an INT and gets benched.
9. Starts after Anderson sucks.
10. Loses starting WR to a trade.

Rinse and mother****ing repeat.

You can't get Clausen and still have the 7 pick like you would there.

If the Chiefs like Dan Williams, they could.

Maybe the thinking would be that Quinn and Williams would be a better first round than Clausen or Berry.

I want no part of Derek Anderson. With that said, I would gladly welcome Brady Quinn to the roster. It would atleast give Cassel some serious competition. But I'm also not going to stomp on Cassel yet. Its amazing how many people hate him so quickly. You guys should've learned with TrInt that the first year with a team is not likely to be pretty, especially in Cassel's situation. I don't trust Cassel, but I'm willing to give him another year or so unless he just totally blows ass next year, which I don't think he will do. I expect him to have a QB rating around 80.

How many times does this have to be said:

Trent Green and Matt Cassel have absolutely NOTHING in common.

Comparing the two is utterly ridiculous.

No, Chiefsplanet has taught me that Cassel doesn't deserve a chance. He's worthless and will amount to nothing, so what's the point? We'd rather take a QB from one of the few teams that had a worse situation at the position than us than to give Cassel another chance. Maybe we can get really lucky and pry Gradkowski away from the Raiders.
