...and now watch Denver homers act like he's good

He wasnt' our starting RB. That would be 34 year old Fred Taylor.

McDaniels will turn this guy into a pro bowler /duuurrrrr

If only it weren't for the 4 years of data that says otherwise.

1st round: their own, plus the Raiders' pick

2nd round: their own, plus the Panthers' pick

3rd round: their own

4th round: their own, plus the Broncos' pick

plus one 5, one 6 (it was two before this trade) and one 7. Piling them up, as usual.

That's ****ing crazy.

....and watch Belichick trade all those picks for some other picks in 2012. You guys will end up with all the draft picks by 2060.

"Was" being the key word here.

Explain that one...I'm feeling slow.

The (crickets) was referring to the sound I heard after reading the news of the trade.

i know it is conditional pick but do you have any idea of what they gave up for Page? was it 2011?

Oh, I thought "Denver has Maroney" was some sort of pun or something.

Once again...slow day here. Carry on.

:p

He's FA after this season, and won't be traded mid-season. I think we re-up him for 2 years at $9MM apiece or something. Frankly, if he performs as we expect (and he's looked GREAT so far), then it makes too much sense for him to stay with us, and for us to keep him.

Worse than Moreno?

Wow, talking about getting NOTHING for him. Maroney was worth the spread between a 4th and a 6th round pick. Why don't we get a bucket of warm spit with it? :shake:

eh, he sucks imo

and a 4th is worth a hell of a lot more than a 6th in terms of the talent available to pick from

edit

and it could be a high 4th

I do wonder about that.

He once rolled a 4th into a 3rd into a 2nd and then used the pick. His draft strategy drives MANY Patriots' fans absolutely crazy, but I agree with it 100%. Fans always want to move UP, and hate moving down, which is all BB ever does, but I'm 100% on board with it.
