Bowe has been decent in KC, but he can perform only with sub-par QBs at the helm. Once we "improved" that position, it made sense that he fell off a bit.

Whenever you take away a talent like Gonzo, there will necessarily be a drop off. Dude always demanded double-teams. But "stopped getting open"? Disagree.

Bowe is the biggest threat we have in the passing game. Teams stopped rolling safeties to Gonzalez and started rolling them to Bowe.

It is not a real shocking statement considering we don't have any speed guys except McCluster. And maybe it is just me but it seems he lines up alot in the backfield as a RB then he does in the slot.

Cassel can't make the throw to an open guy
the WR's drop the ball when he does make the throw

you rotate all these things and the passing game is going to be inconsistent as ****

you can also throw in a game plan that gets conservative because of all those problems so it gives less opportunities in general.

He beat a lot of single coverage when Gonzalez was here.

He had a terrific rookie season and his 08 was pretty good.

I'm not saying Cassel doesn't contribute to his problems but....

He is a possession receiver. he is never going to break any long ones unless the whole D falls down and can't get back up.
