They need to ride Charles hard in the playoffs, especially early in games. I'm really tired of seeing Jones get 7 carries for 10 yards in the 1st quarter.

Charles has by far exceeded my expectations. He was good player at Texas, but I never thought he'd be the player that could potentially have the most average yards per carry in the history of the NFL. I doubt many believed it would happen, either.

No one can be wrong all the time.:p

I didn't predict how good he would be, but I saw very little difference between him and Darren McFadden coming out. McFadden is a little faster and a little bigger but not by much and Charles is more shifty and smarter IMO.

Think how many yards he would have if we would have run him....ON RUN DOWNS?

Na, he never looked to be in any real amount of pain. I was more worried the first time he was down on the field.

I posted this in the game thread. He had about six steps on the nearest defender and kept losing ground. Then he got pulled down awkwardly and immediately called for trainers.

Made my gut turn.

If he ends up with the highest YPC average in NFL history, he truly is a triple-A player. Which means he'll have to start spelling his name Jamaaal.

Why do people still bitch about the # of carries the guy gets? If he was running it 20 times a game this year he wouldn't have been available today.
