QB Official 40's are in:

Taylor ran a 4.52
Kaepernick ran a 4.53
Locker and Newton ran 4.59
Gabbert ran a 4.62

BossChief 02-27-2011 12:10 PM

Hamas' guy Hankerson has improved his stock. I was impressed with his quickness for a larger guy...add to that his deep speed and if he interviews well he might fly up the boards.

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-27-2011 12:14 PM

Hankerson ran a 4.43. At this point, I'd be fine with taking him at 21. He's got amazing hands, he runs good routes, he was a very productive player, he did well at the Sr. Bowl, and he's got really good speed.

I think he should be the guy at 21.

Haven't been watching the combine though...So has Hankerson jumped over Baldwin ?

Rams Fan 02-27-2011 12:16 PM

Looks like Jones is going to be a Top 10 pick. Whatever team takes Baldwin, IMO, will regret it.

Sounds good to me.

Stanzi put a ton of air under those deep balls.

Don't take much from these drills, but Hankerson didn't fare well in the drill earlier in which they run sideline to sideline and catch balls from both sides.

He dropped nearly every ball and let them get too close to his body.

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-27-2011 12:24 PM

Newton's footwork was really slow and sloppy and he sailed the shit out of those throws.

Missed the gauntlet drill. Good info. I know that he was hauling in everything @ the Sr. Bowl.

BossChief 02-27-2011 12:33 PM

As Milk noted, I'm not worried about a few drops in a drill with a quarterback he has little experience with. That part I'll trust the film.

I still like Baldwin, but Hankerson closed the gap IMO.
