No, and no. And I have the extended battery with the case that makes it a fatter phone. It isn't too big at all. I have no idea about the screen size of the Thunderbolt. I'm not familiar with it at all, because I hate Verizon. They're too ****ing expensive.

agreed

I definitely would not want to carry anything much bigger than this but I don't even notice it.

Thunderbolt is 4.3 and I totally agree with the bolded.

I am so glad I work in a cubicle for that reason alone. I can use as often as I like and I never run out of juice. Got a car charger for everything else. :D

You'd be surprised. I picked up two extended life batteries, with the back casing off Ebay for $17 shipped. I don't notice the additional girth, and my battery lasts 2 days at a time with fairly heavy usage. Best thing I've done.

I pay $130 a month after taxes for my wife and I to split 1500 anytime minutes to non cell phones, unlimited everything else, and night time minutes start at 6pm. Full of win for us. We never touch those minutes, because most of our calls are to other cell phones, which don't count against us. I should actually switch back to 7pm night time minutes and drop the bill to $120 a month.

Does anyone have a Thunderbolt yet?

My boss recently got a Thunderbolt and is ready to return it and get a different phone. He seemed to like the way it performed, but hated the battery life.

and yeah, **** Verizon. My contract just ended, so I'm canceling my service with them at the end of the week. I decided to grab an LG Optimus V and picked up the 300 minute unlimited data/messages for $25 a month from VM instead.

Are you in a 4G area? I read in the link above that 4G murders the battery and the way I read the review, you couldn't shut it off, its "always on."

Is that right or did I read it wrong?

Yeah, Verizon blows. But it is either that or ATT or some horrid regional shitbox companies.

I kind of chuckle when I hear people (including myself) say this. We forget that you're buying a miniaturized computer that can also make phone calls.

This is almost exactly what my girlfriend and I do. I'm guessing you have Sprint?
