I know this might be the homer in me, but how does Steven Jackson not belong in the top 10 in a list like this?

He's had ove 1,000+ rushing yards for six straight seasons. He had one of his better seasons on the worst team he's played on. He led the NFC in rushing that year.

LMAO I knew that was coming. Gonzalez is destroying Sharpe's numbers. Tony didn't have Elway throwing to him.

No, he had a slew of fantastic QB's in their own right : Grbac, Huard, Croyle, and a second and third year Matt Ryan. Not to mention Green, who was every bit as good under pressure as he was behind perfect protection, and might be a HOFer had he not been a Chief. / KNOWMO

There isn't a single person here that thinks less of Tony than me.

But even I ain't as stupid as you are in my bias.

There's no question Tony gets in first ballot.

Well since he's head and shoulders above the second best TE, your point is a little weak.

There's a first time for everything. And this first time will happen to be a Kansas City Chief.

Gonzo will always be a Chief in my eyes. I hope he doesn't decide to go in as a Falcon.

For the Bazillionth time, the HoF does not work that way.

I think not. I don't believe that the HOF Selection Committee will be comfortable saying that Gonzales is unequivocally better than Kellen Winslow, Mike Ditka, or (yes, I understand he is not liked around here) Sharpe. I would also be very surprised if the first person ever to be a first ballot HOFer at his position was a guy with no rings.
