i have a pretty good sense of humor and i dont think most of that shit is funny at all. mostly stupid IMO.

A lot of their stuff disgusts the shit out of me.

This is my thought on Jackass, too. I'd like to see the show and movies split into two, half being the crazy-insane stunts, which I'd watch, and half being the stupid and nauseating crap, which I would avoid like the plague.

Too bad about Ryan Dunn, though - he (along with Bam Margera) was one of the few on that show who had enough charisma that he could have springboarded into doing something more meaningful.

Plus, I wouldn't death by burning car-b-que on anyone.

If an 80 year old is also into Monty Python, Mel Brooks, Don Rickles, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, and George Carlin I'll gladly take his sense of humor over the unfunny shit that passes on as comedy these days.

Comedy to you is just how bold the profanity gets or how utterly stupid the stunts. You can argue that some of my favorites above used profanity, but I argue back that they were brilliant in their comedic points and nuances.

Yea this really is too bad. I was a fan of Dunn's myself. As you mentioned he had enough charisma to branch out a bit from the Jackass stuff if he wanted to.....and in my opinion he was possibly on the verge of doing just that. The G4 gaming channel had a new show out called "Proving Ground" of which he was a co-host on. I had already watched the first episode and I must say it had some potential. On the first episode as you might see in the commercial below they were trying to re-create (to an extent) Mario Kart racing and for what it's worth they did a decent job. Now I'm curious to see how many episodes they filmed before his recent death and if they're going to air those episodes or just scrap it entirely. Either way it is indeed sad news.
