Colts Vice Chairman Bill Polian and his son G.M. Chris Polian are out in Indianapolis, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

We’ll have more on this story soon. There’s no official word yet on Jim Caldwell.

I wonder if this opens the door for a Cowher/Gruden type to come in.

I also hope Polian stays the heck away from San Diego. Then again maybe he just rides off into the sunset at this point. It's not like he has anything to prove.

If they trade him, it will cost OVER $38 MILLION against the cap, in 2012. It's not as cut and dry as some tend to think. I think they eventually cave in to the fact, that they already hitched their wagon to Manning. Reality sets in and they trade the pick.

Cut him before March 1 and he is not due the roster bonus or will be as big of cap hit.
