The fumble in CLE
Elliot's missed FG's in KC
Kaeding's missed FG's in SD

Marty has had some really bad luck....a lot of which wasn't his fault.

Marty never should have had him on the roster. Shitty kicker. I'm sure there were better options.

The fumble in Cleveland is the one thing I will agree to that was just bad luck.

The missed FGs by Elliot and by Kaeding were conservative coaching costing him.

Relying on Elliot, who had been crap through most of the season, even missing an xtra point is sheer ****ing stupidity.

And not trying to get closer for Kaeding's try is all on Marty.

He was far too conservative, and it cost him.

His own fault.

Marty didn't have much say over the roster, Peterson did.

Yeah, me too. He got screwed in San Diego.

Everyone knows that Carl gave Marty and Dick a huge voice in personnel matters.

I hope Marty comes back so we can see the HB pass again...I could never understand why Norv stopped letting LDT throw the ball...he executed that play so well it was sickening...Marty had him throw like 3 or 4 TD's one year...and he sold it with such grace.

I guarantee if Marty comes back to TB he'll have at least one running back who throws a TD next year.

Vermiel didn't want LJ. Peterson forced it on him.

You forgot the phantom Non Call on Gonzalez in the End Zone and the SD corner intercepting Brady on 4th down with the lead and fumbling it back to give them a 1st down with 3 minutes left.

That was true later on after Marty won a power struggle with Carl and got more control over the roster. Are you sure that was the case when Marty was stuck with Steve Bono and the kicker that shall go unnamed?

Titty Meat 01-08-2012 07:20 PM

Terrence Kiel holds onto the INT Marty's team beats the Pats. Not his fault.

Biggest pet peeve of mind on this board - just say Lin Elllott.

And that was newsworthy because it rarely happened.
