Not happening unless with offer him a nice cheese sandwich, or he gets caught with weed at the combine.......But probably the cheese sandwich.

I don't want a free agent for us, I want he teams ahead of us to take them leaving RGIII for us.

LMAO

Got me, I did not read full OP, but really **** the FA route. It's what we do man & or trade away draft picks for rejects. The notion or idea sets me off like no other.

O.city 01-15-2012 08:31 PM

The draft order is

Colts
Rams
Viks
Browns
Bucs
Skins
Jags
Panthers
Phins
Bills
Chiefs
Seahawks depending on coin flip

Browns, Skins, and Phins are the only ones in front of us looking for a quarterback.

Say the Colts release Manning, he could go to the Skins as they would be willing to pay him a TON.

Miami might take a flyer on Orton, as they wanted him last year.

Browns could stick with McCoy or could look to bring in Flynn who will be in demand.

chiefzilla1501 01-15-2012 08:32 PM

I'm not a huge fan of Flynn, but I wouldn't mind throwing a big contract at him and then being aggressive over the next 3 years to bring in a good young QB to groom. Probably moreso than Orton, but I'd be okay with Orton too.

Unlike most people, I don't think the Chiefs should swing for the fences for a QB just because they have to. I think they need to swing for the fences for the right QB. And this year, I just don't think there are good enough QBs to swing for (that are within reach), unless Tyler Wilson declares.

I could see SF trading Smith. His stock won't get any higher, and he's obviously a product of Harbaugh.

O.city 01-15-2012 08:34 PM

If we aren't trading up to get a qb, we needa just resign Orton.

Put as many weapons around him and see what he can do. He put up good numbers in Denver having shit around him with a shitty defense.

Okie_Apparition 01-15-2012 08:42 PM

Hoping to correct your failures by other club's ineptness
& distracting Pete Carroll with a shinny object on the way to the draft day podium
is just crazy enough it might work

Dayze 01-15-2012 08:43 PM

Just watch...somehow RGIII falls to us and pioli trades down or takes an o lineman.

Sadly, it wouldn't surprise me at all if that were to happen

O.city 01-15-2012 08:45 PM

If RGIII is there when we pick, he's the pick. And if he is there and I'm Clark and Pioli is balking I pull rank and run to the podium.

How much do you think season ticket sales would skyrocket if we drafted the Heisman winning quarterback?

lewdog 01-15-2012 08:46 PM

I think if we trade up to #9 where the Phins are at, it could be possible to get him there.

Okie_Apparition 01-15-2012 08:47 PM

Heisman winner failure for no extra draft picks
whoa

O.city 01-15-2012 08:47 PM

If he gets past the skins and browns, I'd be on the phone with the Panthers.

Okie_Apparition 01-15-2012 08:48 PM

He already saw the The State Farm curse tonight
