If I could, would gladly pay the 20 to have reliable preseason stream....unfortunately not available in Mexico.

But then again, a "free" stream would probably be a better (and easier) alternative.

You can't rewatch a free stream. You can do that with Preseason Live.

We are excited to announce that PlayStation has partnered with DIRECTV to bring its popular sports subscription service, NFL SUNDAY TICKET, to the PlayStation 3 game console. PlayStation owners across the country will now have the opportunity to watch every out-of-market Sunday game on their PS3.
($339.95)

Can you download the games or are they just streamed? We live in the sticks and, on the best days, our internet is about 640K, which normally isn't fast enough to stream video.

Game Rewind comes streamed and based on network speed it will show in accordance. 640k should get you a somewhat decent but pixelated stream I imagine.

Yeah that was from last year. I sent them a tweet three or four weeks ago asking about Sunday Ticket for the PS3 and they said "Updates for 2012 will be available closer to the start of the season"

$340 seems like a high price.

Pretty sure they give you the option to watch the games in all32/coaches cam format this year.

I'm a cable subscriber and out of market so i will be buying it this year.

Yeah I'm hoping that since DTV dropped the price to $200 for Sunday Ticket on the dish that this price drops a bit for the PS3 too.

The quality is outstanding though. They had a lot of problems week 1 last year and gave customers a refund for that week. But other than that it was flawless. You couldn't even tell you were watching a stream on the PS3.

My only gripe about it was the rewinding and fast forwarding wasn't very good.

I'm not sure which one you are talking about but you can't download the games from Preseason Live, not sure about Game Rewind.

Either one. Thanks.

Thanks. We are getting fiber brought into our "rural area" as I type so I am hoping for faster internet someday. I don't care about watching the game "live" (I DVR all games I watch to skip commercials, stupid zebra conferences, hlaftime dumbassery, etc) so I always thought Rewind would work great, at a quarter of the ST price.

CoMoChief 08-02-2012 02:35 PM

This is just personal opinion....I wouldn't pay $20 to even go see 4 live preseason games. (considering parking paid for)

Just an update, I bought it yesterday and cannot stop watching games. The coaches film is incredible and allows you see things that you would never be able to. I've always followed football but never got too deep into the game and felt I didn't have a great grasp of the small details. I feel like I've learned a ton since yesterday.

I've been watching some Chiefs games and I also like to watch guys that I rarely got to see last year like Newton, Stafford, etc. If you're a football geek then I HIGHLY recommend it. Get the season plus for the coaches film feature.

For your time, here's this gem. Result of the play was a sack.

I don't live in the TV market either.
So I got my ass in the Chief truck yesterday afternoon, went and picked up my son in Iowa City and drove to the game :)

No excuses! Gotta see the Chiefs.

That's awesome. I think it's the best investment for watching Chiefs games out of market for ~$20-$80, depending on what you buy. I recently got NFL network added to my Cox TV bundle for free because I told them I was wanting to go with Dish Network and Vonage, however the Chiefs game still wasnt on here in OK City. So I will be literally glued onto game rewind to watch last nights game.

Because it's cheap and more reliable than free streams. Stream hunting got old real fast. Especially when you would have to have two or three separate streams just in case the NFL shut the one you were watching down.

This exactly. It's worth $5 per game to avoid this mess and actually enjoy watching the games.

Same here. Nearly flawless feed and I get to watch it live. I was hesitant, but knew I made the right decision to purchase less than 5 minutes in...
