Looks like 7 dead (1 being the shooter).

Fox is saying that, 7 dead, 3 inside the temple, 4 outside, including the shooter and one officer from the sounds of it.

CNN said the cop was in surgery. Shot multiple times, but I assume he had a vest on.

OK so we've got USA Today saying 20-30 shot

We've got Fox saying 7 dead

Initial reports coming from a fast breaking story are often wrong.

1) multiple shooters were initially reported from the Batman shooting

2) On 9/11, I remember an early report of a car bomb going off in DC.
