Most Redskins fans are white? Isn't Washington DC predominantly black? This doesn't even make sense. Is he really trying to CREATE a QB controversy.

Virginia (where I was born) has a lot of Redskins fans. Skip Bayless must have run out of Tebow hype and he's reaching for anything that will get him some attention.

1. White fans do favor white players in general. I don't know how anyone could think of another reason the Boomer Grigsbys, Andy Studebakers, and Mike Mazlowskis (maz sucked) are/were so over-valued by fans.

2. Most Redskin fans ARE white. Just like most NFL fans are white. It's called an ethnic majority. White people have one in this country.

People are WAY to oversensitive about race. I mean people start calling everyone racist just for bringing up racial issues.

How is his comment anything more than common knowledge? Look at the Asian media circus that follows players like Ichiro around.

Look at how Mark Sanchez was covered by Mexican media.

Look at all the hype that guys like Jason Sehorn and Mike Alstott got for being the only white guys at their positions.

Bayless may be wrong in this instance because white guys aren't underdogs at the QB position, though. People tend to pull for guys of their own race when their race is an extreme minority in said activity.
