You know, he beat out Flacco

I was going to mention that and saw your post. He was QB with the Pitt Panthers but Coach Dave Wannsted picked Tyler Palko for the starting job. Flacco was offered a slot at Delaware and saw that Rich Gannon had played his college ball there, so Joe transferred to Delaware and was drafted in the first round by the Ravens. Here is Joe in his Pitt uniform where he sparingly in 4 games.

That dude will forever say he got an NFL win thanks to a Hail Mary to Dexter McCluster. If I were him I’d never shut up about it.

oldman 06-20-2021 08:59 AM

That's one more win than Brodie Croyle.

Exactly. That one win is not a given in the game. How many times do you think he's watched that hail mary?

oldman 06-20-2021 09:07 AM

Or how many times has he made his kids watch it?

Or catching a long TD pass on a flanker option play. Burning Ronde Barber to boot!

31 consecutive possessions without a touchdown prior to that play. I can't even imagine what that means in the era of Mahomes. Lol, wow.
