If Quinn is as good as Kolb, we make the playoffs.

Quinn is an interception machine. I know we're desperate for a real QB, but c'mon folks

Go **** yourself.

So ****ing dumb that there is not a better choice - like say Orton - after all the "TALK" about competition in the off season.

Yeah - but he's better than Cassel.

We know what we have isn't working.

Work our way through what we have and see who shows up...

I am surprised this hasn't been posted yet, but according to the radio on 610 this morning, (Bill Maas and Fescoe) Quinn has been getting about 50% of the first team reps in practice this week.

In the short term this is certainly a good thing because Quinn certainly can't be worse than what Cassel has been so far. But I wonder, what if he starts and does decent? Decent enough to warrant not drafting a first round QB next year. I really want the team to win but I want it to be like last week against the Saints every week where we win in spite of the QB, not because of him or with him really contributing. If Quinn does decent will that preclude them from going hard after a QB next season? (If they ever were going to at all).

I don't necessarily know about that.

Yep. Cassel has had ENOUGH time. We KNOW EXACTLY what he is.

People are just desparate to get rid of Cassel. Remember people going nuts when Cassel was out for the year and Palko came in?

So quickly that people forget how bad Quinn was in preseason.

Dayze 09-28-2012 09:41 AM

I wasn't able to watch the NO game; did Cassel stink up the joint?

I agree that Casshole isn't the answer, but neither is Quinn. If he were any good, he'd be starting instead of riding the pine behind Casshole

He was both the worst of what we'd expect and at the same time was oddly able to hit the short routes in clutch time.

So...I'd grade him a C-....

the Talking Can 09-28-2012 09:42 AM

quinn sucks dick

but whatever it takes to get rid of cassel
