Waste of money, only the elderly read the print newspaper anymore.

And for crying out loud, this is about Pioli and only Pioli. You want to run an ad about a QB who isn't starting this week? What a waste.

There is one talking point in this movement. Pioli. Pioli. Pioli.

BUT WAIT.

THAT WAS A PRINT AD. PRINT IS DEAD.

WHY IS THERE A LINK ON THE INTERNET ABOUT IT AND WHY DID IT GET COVERAGE ON TV?

Ok, it was a starting point. Focus on Scott.

Boom, we just saved some money.

The digital billboards around town are actually pretty reasonable.
I'd pitch in.

Trust me man, nobody gave a **** then or now. I barely remember it and I'm a Royals fan. Granted the NFL is bigger, but for 10k, c'mon.

Based on the rates posted earlier in the thread, digital billboards don't seem worth the expense. You have to share space and still pay at least the same amount as a permanent billboard.

qabbaan 10-11-2012 06:02 PM

A billboard that says at the top in medium sized letters, "Save The Chiefs" and in giant letters below that, "FIRE PIOLI"

Somewhere on the route between the airport and the stadium for Clark

Maybe Whitlock could get us a discount?

As soon as it's clear the asshole won't be fired, up it goes.

And I'll throw in a thousand ****ing dollars to get it up.

You sure your mom will loan you that much money?

Dante84 10-11-2012 06:03 PM

Whelp. Seems I'm in the minority. If anyone does want to do this, count me in.

MahiMike 10-11-2012 06:03 PM

Why don't we just toss some nukes out the window of the banner plane?

KCUnited 10-11-2012 06:04 PM

Any legalities around a billboard urging the firing of a specific person? Just curious.

FAX 10-11-2012 06:05 PM

You mean there isn't a single billboard guy in KC that is a Chiefs fan?

Unthinkable.

We need to rally support from people who have the ways and means to help us. We need a billboard guy and a skywriter guy and a midget prostitute and a camera.

FAX

I'm a Royals fan, and I never heard of it.

A print ad, given the cost, is a very very very bad idea.
