The Pro Bowl isn't even an honor anymore. It's meaningless. All-Pro is what matters and the Chiefs shouldn't have anyone on that list except maybe Jamal Charles.

wazu 10-19-2012 02:30 PM

I'm thinking Charles and Bowe. I think it will take another year before people catch on to Houston.

And what part of my last post doesn't this match?
ROFL

The Pro Bowl will always be meaningful. It's one of the few distinctions that will always follow a player around.
It's not unlike an Oscar win or nomination.

You may think the process it's a bad popularity contest, but that's kinda beside the point.

Not anymore. It's not the popularity contest aspect, it's the fact that so many players skip out and lame, undeserving alternates (see Matt Cassel) get appointed. Comparing it to an Oscar win/nomination is dumb. If someone doesn't show up to the Oscars they don't nominate someone else.

The Pro Bowl used to be meaningful. Now it's a joke.

Titty Meat 10-19-2012 02:43 PM

Yeah the pro bowl is a joke. The guy who threw for over 300 yards only twiice in the season made the pro bowl a few years ago.

The end process is obviously different between the two, but assuming the process runs its natural course they're no different.
Pro Bowl berths always follow players around.

And it's not as though the 20th-best LB goes if Hali declines.
They'll take bubble players who were actually worth of PB consideration.

oldman 10-19-2012 03:26 PM

I said 2, Charles and Hali. I know Hali is off to a slow start, but I think he'll start to light it up after the bye.

Zero

Bowe, Charles and Hali as legacy players, Houston earns his first time.

Mama Hip Rockets 10-19-2012 04:49 PM

Charles and Houston

I couldnt honestly care less, not to knock your thread at all Mj... but no matter who goes, it'll be an empty prize, imo.

007 10-19-2012 05:05 PM

who cares? Its the most pointless game of the year anyway.

whoman69 10-19-2012 06:03 PM

poll fail, no zero option
