I hear that Kyle Orton guy is pretty good

so because the 9ers 2nd round QB looks promising after 1 half, we should not draft a QB #1 and go for a 2nd round one?

I don't know why they don't just trade Matt Cassel and Billy Butler for Tom Brady. Then the Chiefs could draft an OT or something instead.

The idea happened to cross my mind as I saw a young talent blossom before my eyes. What if this 2nd rounder, or any of the other high potential young bucks, is better than any of the top prospects, come draft time? Merely digging, not suggesting. |

Sorry, that's how it works. I say we use the pick on a QB and roll the dice for once in this franchise's sorry ****ing dickless history. The years of being just good enough to lose in the playoffs are because we always wanted to play it safe. "Oh, the QBs aren't good this year? Stay away from them! They'll destroy all our chances at winning a playoff game!" The reports that these QBs aren't good are overblown, but even if you choose to believe them, that shouldn't matter. The strategy is to find a QB. TIme to start looking. May as well start with this class. |
Comparing Kaepernick to Cassel is totally unfair. What did Cassel do in college.....carried a clip board. Kaepernick put about zillion yards and was in the Heisman talk for a while. So trading for him would be equal to drafting a 1st round rookie QB. With that said I would rather the Chiefs take a different approach and draft their own QOF.....as long as it is not another Matt from USC.
Geno needs to a Chief. |
Pick Geno in the 1st, and don't **** around or get cute with the pick.

Some dumbass caller on 810 wanted to trade our first round pick to Seattle for their first round pick and Matt Flynn.
