Wallace has said he wants to be paid like the third highest wide receiver...he isn't worth that.

With all of those talented receivers out there, I like our chances of keeping Bowe.

Totally agree on wanting JB. That would be a great signing.

I agree and I think that Jake Long and Ryan Clady being FA's will do the same thing with Branden Albert.

Just saw on Twitter than the Packers aren't gonna keep Finley around. Either trade or release.

I'd be willing to bring him aboard on the cheap.

GoChargers 12-16-2012 01:18 AM

JR3 better be at Clady and Welker's doorsteps with a blank check on day 1 of free agency.

Wasn't that long ago that Winston, Hillis, Routt and Boss were considered an "awesome success" in FA.

Aint that the truth.

DTLB58 12-16-2012 11:25 AM

Probably a lot depends on who the new coach/GM/QB style of Offense and defense.

*WILL NEVER HAPPEN

I agree. We need to get one of those guys.

It has to be horrendous coaching. There's just no other explanation to me. They all ****ing tanked. Of course, some of us knew Routt was a dumb ****ing move in the first place...

I'm all about Byrd. I hope our new GM comes in and gets those things done immediately.

I tried to warn everyone about Winston.....But I was lambasted because they would only look at the comparison with Richardson and not just Winston's #'s and what the Texan's fans were saying. The guy is a big Momma's boy.

We already have a Finley at TE, only he doesn't drop as many passes.

No, it doesn't have to be horrendous coaching.

These guys just aren't good.

People were blinded on Winston because he was "better" than Richardson, and overvalued the hell out of him.

Routt was no surprise, and to several others, neither were Hillis or Boss.

Let's face it, the majority of members on this board ridiculously overvalue talent that wears ketchup and mustard.

Yeah, you're right. Just look at what everyone is saying about the guys we have now...

And so did a lot of major sports media outlets.

You've said this several times.

We get it. We were wrong. You were right.

And why did the media make the same mistake?

Scott Pioli.

The media is like members of this board were before SOC gained traction- they thought he could do no wrong.

The media bought into this Patriot Way bullshit as well. Hell, his buddies like Peter King still refuse to say anything negative against him, even though there is a mountain of evidence to the contrary.

There's no one thing that makes this a 2-win team.

Part of it is overall talent.

Part of it is coaching.

Part of it is the QB position.

All three need to be fixed before this franchise sees any real success.
