From NFL.COM
According to NFL.com's Steve Wyche, the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to retain general manager Scott Pioli despite a disastrous season, according to a source briefed on the situation. Coach Romeo Crennel won't be as fortunate. The source said Crennel likely will be fired, although no final decision has been made on the coach's future. Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has strong feelings for Pioli and wants to give him another shot to get things right, the source said. |
Mostly this report is Williamson's and Schefter's personal opinion. A source is implied only in the second paragraph. I hope he's right, but I still worried as heck.

Just to be sure I would have a plane with a banner that reads ( Remember the Fans) ready to fly over Clarks house just before he meets with Pioli.
You never know how these things could go |

I don't know why Scott wouldn't even be embarrassed enough to resign.
If I was terrible at my job and everyone hated me I would lay low and find something else I was good at. |
