it would be a lot easier if he would have just fired Pioli rather than knowing Pioli may or may not be involved in the process or in the know when Reid comes in for an interview. And by all the Pats/Browns/Parcells approval candidates being interviewed by the Chiefs so far, Pioli IS involved in this mess somehow. It's becoming a game of shadows at this point

Andy Reid is going to agree to a gentlemans handshake with Clark before signing a contract that Pioli is fired? It's just not that easy

if Clark wanted Pioli gone, he'd be gone, it should not take an Andy Reid interview for that to happen bottomline

So you don't think Reid is going to shop around the league, balancing his options?

I never understood the though process of hiring someone who has proven they can't get it done as a HC (crennel, etc). Yeah Reid did blah blah blah a few years ago but the last 2 season he has sucked a fat penis when the team was dropping dollars to get stars on the roster. I think hiring Reid in KC would be epic fail part 2.

Coughlin also couldn't get it done in Jacksonville. Belichick couldn't get it done in Cleveland.

The guy completely rebuilt a team that was in as bad of shape as the Chiefs right now back in 1999.

To compare him to Romeo might be the most hilariously ****ing stupid thing posted on this board today though. They aren't even in the same stratosphere for comparison sake.

Yeah, he's had 2 bad years where guys he paid big money to didn't pan out. He also had about 10 years of pretty good football.

Chiefs dropped dollars in 1999 too, didn't work. Rarely does.

I'm of the opinion that if you can't get Cowher, Reid is the next best guy. He's going to have a first round QB at his disposal and he's done a great job with that position in Philly.

Exactly its all about leverage

Reid's biggest issue is going to be finding a d-coordinator.

He has to find his next Jim Johnson which isn't easy, but he has to for his next stint to work. He's really screwed the pooch with McDermott, Castillo and Todd Bowles.

OMG have you actually heard real info that backs this?

That would be a dream for me. I love Reid, Rivera and Geno and would stand in line to buy season tickets if that happened.

Andy Reid HC
Keith Bulter DC he's in PIT

Lol what? Dick Vermiel, Bill Billichick, Tony Dungy, Coughlin. the list goes on. And on. How long did it take Cowher? It's not like he has close to a losing record either.

This. I agree.

Aside from him being good at developing QBs and having good passing offenses, his defenses have sucked since Jim Johnson died.

With that being said, finding a good defensive coordinator is an absolute must for him. Tough to do though. You're right.

Color aside, Geno is a much better version of McNabb and AR got the most out of Donovan.

Reid and Geno would be crazy!
