there was a long standing policy to not allow posters to use Chief or famous names as user names on this board. The mods have been slacking off on enforcing that rule lately.

That's fine. I just don't really know who you might be thinking of that is literally using a player's name. We've allowed a player's name as PART of a username, but names like "Matt Cassel" have generally been nuked from the start.
