The only time I doubted his commitment was when he didn't fire Pioli on Monday. I always thought he wanted to win and he thought he was doing the best thing in hiring Pioli. I congratulate him on taking the bull by the horns.

well done, clark

now draft a QB or we'll buy a web ad to fly over the chiefs homepage

Not only appreciation for firing Pioli and sending the Patriot Way packing, but also cutting off his nuts and making him go interview the man who would ultimately end his time in KC. That's cold.

He undoubtedly is shelling out a lot of money to fire Pioli and, based on the names circulating, hiring a new management team (coaching staff and front office).

That should put to rest all the "Clark is cheap and only cares about money, not winning" stuff.

Yep I will be all in in saying THANKS!
Him comming out and saying he was taking the reins was awesome.

ShowtimeSBMVP 01-04-2013 09:40 AM

With Reid's salary and the type of big-name staff he'll likely assemble, the Chiefs are almost certainly going to have one of the most expensive coaching staffs and front offices in the league.

Hunt is providing the resources. The exciting thing is that Reid is a proven commodity, an individual who will be able to use these resources appropriately and effectively.

Just a fantastic last couple of days.

I actually really like this idea. Think it would show class on behalf of SOC. showing support for Hunt and what he is doing for this team.

Four years ago, went out and got the top GM candidate.

This year, canned his buddy because his team sucked, and went out and got the biggest fish out there.

His decisions may not work out, but if anyone questions his commitment to winning or his commitment to spending the bucks, they can go to hell. We got ourselves an owner...
