While he wasn't my first choice, I admit that I erred in thinking his team would be disciplined and he would attempt to rectify the QB position. The latter might have been out of his hands, however.

Oh it was apparent it was out of his hands. It was more of a doing a friend a favor and taking the job.

Glad his tenure is over.

Yep. Doubt we will see him back in the NFL either.

While Orton didn't produce a lot of points, he did move the chains. That helped a ton.

Don't judge me, I was holding out for the 1% chance that he would become the black Bill Belicheck.

Do they make hoodies that big?

Pioli was too busy making sure there were no candy wrappers in the hallway to notice Romeo's practices.

The defense showed up because they weren't left on the field the entire game.

Hell, the defense played better with Tyler Palko at times simply because he was able to keep from going 3 and out over and over again (see the 1st half of the NE game, Pitt)

Because he doesn't know the first ****ing thing about football, and that's the truth. He's been lucky enough to suck or fall on the right dicks throughout his career.

It's amazing what our defense can do when it's not on the field the entire game. Look forward to this year. Not expecting greatness but at least a competent team. Orton at least could move the ball and look like an average QB, meanwhile, Matty boy looked like Ryan Leaf.

The 49ers were never higher than 25th in third-down conversion rate with Alex Smith as their QB.

So he should help our defense stay off the field.

ROFL

I'm just praying we find our QBOTF in this draft or next year.
