It was a shitty year to draft number one.

It was a shitty year to pick 16th. /Rams

It was a shitty year to pick 21st. /Bengals

It was a shitty year to pick 23rd. /Vikings

It was a shitty year to pick 32nd. /Ravens

There's talent everywhere in this draft.

Who is Geno going to throw to?

Al Toon isn't walking through that door.

It's not that simple though.

Austin was picked before them and they were going to take him. Who else should they have taken?

Is Eifert a better player than either Richardson or Millner? I think both are on a different tier than Eifert. Hard to justify that pick. That's about the only offensive player they could taken in that spot. The skill position players in this draft were horrid at the top.

They traded for Ivory who has been very impressive in short stints in NO. He will start for them at RB.

I think they did what they could do with how the board fell.

What I meant that there was nobody worth trading up for so the Chiefs were stuck at 1. None of us know what really went down with Albert. Maybe he is having health issues and possibly attitude issues. He obviously doesn't want to play for the Chiefs, he wanted to go home to Miami. They were able to sign Bowe, but Albert didn't want their offer. **** the guy. Now they are stuck with him unless someone wants to give up a 2014 draft pick.

....as usual.

I doubt it, Kelce has been a draftnik favorite for months so has Fisher honestly.

Don't see how you can judge without any of these guys playing a down in the league. ...

If the Jets really wanted Austin they could have traded with Arizona. That said, they made fine selections. Their GM needs to show enough patience to realize that this year is going to be a shit show. If he can tell Ryan that starting Geno= his ass is fired then the Jets may have something solid to build with. If they start him this year it will be a disaster, as that's near the worst roster in the league.

If the Jets really wanted Austin, they probably shouldn't have told anyone who would listen that they wanted him - then they could have stayed put and grabbed him.

The draft pundits loved a few of Piolis drafts, giving him top draft grades. At this point, I'm guessing draft pundits would trash our draft. Many of them acted shocked we passed on Joekel, and then the ****ing Davis crap. :deevee:

The point I meant to make is draft grades don't mean jack shit. :)

Why do you people keep jumping to all of these conclusions about Albert?

The next guy that reads this crap is going to think some of that shit you wrote down is true, next thing you know it is gospel.

Albert was getting tagged, and to get decent tag money, he had to be a LT not a RT. He has busted his ass all off season to be in the best shape possible, and he is lean and fit. He is not injured and has done everything this team has asked of him, protecting crap QBs that have no ****ing clue what they are doing back there.

I'm so sick of this argument.

It's like me telling you that you should at least try to do your homework with a 32 book encyclopedia set before saying the internet is better...

I don't think anyone can disagree that 3 of the best drafts were the 3 NFC West powers.

And here I didn't think the 49ers front 7 could get more scary.

Easily one of the better posts I've read in awhile.

No excuses, the next Superbowl champion is also picking in this draft so time to get it done!

In no particular order, Top 5 so far:

Rams
Ravens
Bills
Bengals
Vikings

Worst 5: (this was tougher than I thought)

Chiefs
Jets
Carolina
Arizona
Tampa

Jets in the worst 5? Are you serious?

Hell no.

Can you say for certain that all these players on teams who "won" the draft will be great, And vice versa?
