I don't think Reid believes Smith is the answer but he was the best available for a team with talent that is in their prime. I think we'll draft a QB high next year. Reid and Dorsey looked at our last few years of redzone offense. I am sure that Fisher and Kelce are supposed to give a chance to knock somebody off the ball when a run play is called in the redzone.

One thing about the DV years, with our O-line and Jason Dunn, Chiefs were one of the best at rushing for redzone TDs and would be nice to see that again.
