Andy may be smarter than I thought. If he had NO words about Alice Smyth, trying to sell that useless bag of shit, then he's clearly in touch with reality.

I liked our draft- maybe I am the only one- but it seems like they picked some pretty tough kids that like to Block and Hit.
All the signs point to a power run game. Yes it is old school but it is the Best way to keep high powered offenses off the field. You dont have to worry about Manning and Welker if they are on the bench watching Our running game destroy them 5 - 7 yards at a time. |

So, Alex Smith= Mega Thread?

I like how seemingly open he is. It reminds me of Vermeil in the old "can't make the club in the tub" days. Particularly liked his comments on Commings.

It is an interesting draft, because so much of it is based on potential. It is as if they said "This draft is completely lacking in wow players, so let's grab guys with great ability and coach them up." I can tell you with last year's staff, it would have been a disaster. Reid obviously has confidence in himself and his coaches, and he pretty much pointed that out when speaking about Bray, in terms of (and I'm paraphrasing) "look, you've got me, you've got smart offensive minds, guys who have been players (IE Pederson, Nagy) and intelligent offensive minds (Childress) that you better take advantage of when you get in here, and you've got a good QB room with great examples of how to put the work in to be a pro (Smith, Daniel)."
We shall see how this turns out. He said the reason Davis fell to the bottom of the third is because there was that injury question, but that he feels he has first day talent. And Nico Johnson went there because they started seeing a run on a bunch of linebackers around that time, and they had about 5 or 6 grouped in there, and they liked Johnson and if they didn't take Johnson, no one would be left. And he's really, really high on the center... |

Thats what I want; a coach that gets "really high" on big impact positions like Center!
