Wow, the trifecta of death: Frenchy, Moose and Getz all in the same lineup, and no Salvy again.
Not much you can do with that. 7-8-9-1 is punchless, although Kottaras is always good for a walk or two. Getz leading off is brutal. Oh, and as far as the park goes, yeah, it's not the greatest, but it's much better than the old Astrodome, that's for sure. |

Seriously, Getz in the leadoff spot? Why? Just... why? Play Lough and have him lead off. |
How much do we miss Salvy?
Just saying the words "Humberto Quintero" makes my nut sack pull up into my body cavity. shudder..... |

I for one am glad Cain isn't leading off. He has not done well batting lead off this year. In fact his batting average as the lead off hitter this season is, wait for it...
.000 Heck, batting second he isn't much better sitting at a .200 average. Clearly a guy who is better in the middle of the lineup for whatever reason. |

Granted I only see it from the photographers pits at 1st, 3rd, and either side of home plate. |

Can pitchers actually be slotted into the lineup in the AL? If so, is there a team or pitcher that has been known to do this?

Who K's the most tonight?
Frenchy? Moose? Cain? My money is on Frenchy. Could be a 2 to 3 K performance. |
Even Bob Boone is embarrassed by this lineup.
We owe James Shields at least 6 runs tonight. At least. For the next 4-5 games to make up for the horrible run support they've given him so far. |
Cain has shown a disturbing frequency of looking at strike three with men on base....
