Take your dad out to watch a baseball game at a bar and eat some wings.

Luckily im still young, so yes, BJ's are still a regular occurrence for me.

But i'm not delusional. I know all good things come to an end so i had better take full advantage while it lasts.

How old are you when the bjs stop?

I'm a little older and get more now than ever in my life.

must be the baby powder

Sounds good to me.

Just to be able to remember something I forgot about my father that has been gone since I was 15..

Maybe if I had a dream about him when I was a kid...

My dad had a triple bypass/scary heart attack that seriously damn near killed him in May.
I'm going to appreciate him more than ever

Good plan. I lost my father unexpectedly this past August at the age of 68. He had planned to retire at the end of the year. This should have been his first Father's Day as a retired guy. I should be driving my wife and kids down to his house this Sunday to spend the day, watch the Royals, and cook out. People in my family generally live well into their 80s. But apparently not always.

I'd say "don't take a single day for granted", but that is seemingly impossible to do until it's too late. A more achievable goal would be "make plans to do stuff, and then show up and do it".

I started the year with my son in the hospital. Couple of months later I was in the hospital. On fathers day, we're going catfishing and avoiding the hospital.

My parents are divorced, so that's no problem.

What I'm sensing is that dad's want to get rid of their kids on Father's Day. I just thought that was a little weird. You're celebrating being a dad, but you don't want to be with your kids? That's not to you, tooge. That's just the general feel I've gotten from posters.

Well, my first born is scheduled for Monday, but a little part of me wants her to go into labor Sunday so the kiddo lands a day early.
