There's hot chicks in every city. The whole concept that women are hotter in city A vs city B is BS.

You do realize that saying something like that is going to bring a certain poster in here like someone mentioning crude oil does me, yes?

My sister and BIL moved from Houston to Overland Park about two years ago. They love it.

Moving from Houston to virtually any other place in the USA would be an upgrade.

There is a lot of truth here.

True. I don't miss it.

I liked Houston a lot. Was there for 3 years. Liked Johnson County better, but Houston was good.

You must not have had a commute. I didn't mind the heat or Texas. But that's a lot of people crammed into 50 square miles.

I could see the constant nice weather/beach culture of a city like San Diego or Miami causing women in general to take better care of themselves than say a place like Fargo.

I could be wrong.

Meh. It's humid and the traffic sucks. Haven't lived any of my adult life there, so who knows.

I did, but you're right. It's the worst traffic I've experience and I've lived in Dallas, Atlanta and DC. Every intersection gets gridlocked because everyone runs red lights and gets stuck.
It was so bad that I worked off Allen Parkway and after work I would drive downtown to the line of people waiting for the bus to the Hwy 6/ I-10 park and ride and pick one or two up so I could take the HOV home.
Basically a hitchhiker. Slug line they called it in DC.

Yuck. Katy freeway was awful. Of course they were all terrible.

Love it here in Missouri. Shitty winters make some great hunting. Wet/Hot springs and summer make for some great gardens. No traffic. Cheap living. Solid values. Nice people. If you are a homo, it's probably not for you though.
