Regardless, it's not "history".

It's interesting fiction but Haley was a phony and a liar.

I watched the original about a year ago. It was a pretty good series. This looks watchable but there's a lot more embellishment, obviously. Now there's a civil war element.

They should have some of the original cast. That would be pretty cool.
